Lauren Clarke & David Kunkle

It was a beautiful day on Saturday, May 28th 2016, for Lauren Clarke and David Kunkle to exchange their wedding vows. Their families and closest friends were all there to witness this special occasion.

The guests began to arrive at the Crystal Room at the Butler Days Inn at 5:00 pm, for cocktail hour. Upon arriving, the guests were able to observe the beautifully decorated room. The bride chose Navy and Blush for her wedding colors, and both were combined in a very elegant way, around the Crystal Room. The tables were covered in white floor length linens, with a Navy crinkle overlay. The chairs also had white linen chair covers over them, along with a Navy crinkle sash, which was tied into a bow. The centerpieces on the table, which were provided by Lauren and Leechburg Floral, gave the room a very chic and elegant vibe.

While the guests were enjoying the open bar, as well as shrimp cocktail, coconut shrimp, egg rolls, and a display of meat, cheese and fruit, and cookies from the cookie table, they were able to observe the beautiful 4 tier wedding cake. The cake was decorated with 2 classic and simple patterns, which were carefully put on each layer. Also, Navy ribbon was wrapped around each tier. The cake itself was made up of vanilla and chocolate cake. The vanilla cake came with chocolate mousse, while the chocolate cake came with vanilla buttercream.

As 5:50 pm rolled around, the Crystal room was buzzing with anticipation and excitement, for soon, the Bride and Groom would be making their highly anticipated arrival.

Just outside of the Crystal Room, the members of the Bridal party were eagerly awaiting to be announced in. Once everyone was announced and seated, the moment everyone had been waiting for, had finally arrived. The Bride and Groom entered the Crystal room to loud cheers, pictures being taken by their Photographer, Carissa McCullen, and smiles everywhere. Before taking their seats, Lauren and David had their first dance as husband and wife. Shortly after they cut into their cake, with help provided from the Crystal room staff, to cut the rest of the pieces for the guests. This fun and exciting moment was followed by a welcoming speech and blessing, given by the Brides Father, as well as toasts, which were given by the Maid of Honor and the Best Man, in preparation for dinner to be served.

To start the guests off, they were served a fresh salad. The main course that was to follow, Lauren and David chose 2 entrees from the guests to chose from, which were Stuffed Chicken or New York Strip. The Bride and Groom also chose 2 side dishes, which included Buttered Parsley Potatoes and a Zucchini Medley.

Once everyone was full, they were served dessert, which was a piece of the elegant and delicious chocolate and vanilla wedding cake.

Following dessert, DJ Pifemaster got the party started. As a treat for their guest, their was also a photo booth, which was provided by Sweet Pics! so the guests could take turns having fun and take crazy and fun pictures, throughout the night. There were smiles on everyone's faces and there was certainly love and joy in the air on Lauren and David's special day.

Our team would like to extend our well wishes and congratulations to the newlyweds! Best of luck Mr. and Mrs. Kunkle!!
