On the cool afternoon of Saturday April 8th, 2016 Caitlin and Josh made a lifelong commitment to each other, surrounded by their families and closest friends. Guests began to arrive at the crystal room at 6:30 pm, to begin the reception and enjoy the cocktail hour.
Everyone eagerly found their names on the place card table, excited to find out what table they were seated. Caitlin had very unique table numbers for her tables. Each number coincided with a special day or time in their relationship. It was an adorable, romantic way to showcase their special moments, and also allow their guests to feel included in those special moments.
Upon entering the gorgeous Crystal Room, guests are greeted with tables decorated with floor length black linen table cloths. The chairs were covered in black, with fuchsia chair sashes tied into a bow. The pink up lighting really added a special touch to the room, creating an even more striking contrast between the black and the vibrant shade of pink. Each table had centerpieces with an assortment of pink and white flowers, adding another pop of vibrancy to the grand ballroom. While guests socialize, they have the opportunity to view the glamorous cake. Caitlin and Josh chose a four tiered, hexagon cake. The cake was decorated with white icing and covered in delicate pink swirl accents.
As guests find their seats and a grab a drink in anticipation of the grand arrival , they enjoy many appetizers. The appetizer table included assorted cheese balls, veggie tray, and fresh homemade cookies. The expert staff passed bacon wrapped scallops, shrimp cocktail, mushrooms stuffed with crab, and cocktail meatballs.
Finally, the new husband and wife entered the reception, the room was emanating love and happiness and many smiles as mr. and mrs. klajnowski were announced into their reception. Before making their way to their seats in the front of the room, The bride and groom cut their beautiful cake, keeping the old tradition alive on their special day.
Once they finished cutting the cake, the speeches were given leaving everyone feeling nostalgic and hopeful for the future ahead of the happy couple. After the excitement calmed down, the experienced staff began passing mixed green salad to each guest. Once salads were finished, the delicious meals that Caitlin and Josh chose for their guests to enjoy were served. The couple chose an entree choice of either cod stuffed with crab, or a duo plate of filet and chicken veronica. Each entree was served with a zucchini medley and Delicious garlic smashed potatoes.
Once dinner and a dessert of decadent wedding cake was finished, guests began to mingle and dance to the music provided by Dj Bob Harnett.
The evening ended on a high note, with friends and family celebrating the joyous union to two happy people. The Crystal and Terrace Room staff would like to extend our sincerest congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Klajnowski!
