On Saturday, September 24th, 2016, Genna Toth and James Mauro, exchanged vows in front of their closest family and friends.
Their reception took place in the Crystal Room at 5:00. First guests found their seating by scratching off a card to reveal their table number. As they entered the Crystal Room it was illuminated with a soft purple lighting. The Tables were covered in a white linen, and the chairs had white covers over them, along with eggplant satin sashes. The center pieces, were provided by The Bloomery.
Cocktail hour began along with the open bar and a cheesball display, with assorted crackers as an appetizer. There were also plenty of cookies at the cookie table for everyone to enjoy.
At 5:45, the wedding party and the Bride and Groom were announced in to the Crystal Room. Shortly after, the newlyweds had their first dance and cut their cake. The cake itself consisted of a small chocolate and almond cake with chocolate and raspberry mousse, on the top layer, for the couple to cut. Underneath were cupcakes, both chocolate and vanilla, which were on the next 5 layers of the cake stand.
At 6:00 the Matron of Honor, Sarah Davis, and the Best Man, Anthony Mauro, gave their toasts to the happy couple. Guests were then serveda fresh garden salad, then enjoyed a wonderful buffet of Traditional Stuffed chicken Breast and Penne with meatballs and marinara. The couple also chose a zucchini medley and buttered parsley red skin potatoes, as the side dishes. For the younger guests, there were chicken tenders and fries. Dinner rolls and butter were on the tables for the guests, to go along with their meal.
Wedding cupcakes & cookies were plentiful for dessert.
Immediately following dinner and dessert, were the father/daughter and mother/son dances. DJ Dave then got the party started and everyone moved onto the dance floor. Their photographer, Tressa, captured every moment. Including of course, the unforgetable bouquet toss and garter toss!
As the night came to an end around 10:00, the bride and groom, along with all of their friends and family, were having the time of their lives. It was certainly a day and night to remember. One I'm sure, that Genna and James won't soon forget!
Congratulations to the newlyweds, from all of us here at the Crystal Room and Terrace Room! Best of luck to you Mr. and Mrs. Mauro!
