On Friday, October 14th, 2016, close friends and family gathered around Kimberly Mogush and Trevor Swindell, as they exchanged vows and became husband and wife.
Kimberly & Trevor chose to have their reception in the Crystal Room. The doors to the Crystal room opened at 6:00 p.m. for guests to enter. The room was beautifully lit with purple & blue lighting.
The tables had crisp white full length linens, the chairs had white covers with a fuscia satin chair sash to add the perfect splash of color. The centerpieces provided by the Bloomery were gorgeous. The couple chose to have alternating centerpieces, some tables had underwater blue orchids and other tables had a hot pink rose, which was covered by a clear bell vase provided by the couple.
As the guests mingled for cocktail hour, they could enjoy the open bar, a cheese ball display and buffalo chicken dip, as well as cocktail meatballs, which were butler passed by the Crystal room staff. Many family members & friends supplied endless amounts of cookies for the spectacular cookie table.
The Bridal party was announced in around 7:15, followed by the new Mr. & Mrs. Trevor Swindell. Everyone was in awe of Kimberly's stunning dress with the crisp white, cascading layers of her gown. With the sparkle in their eyes, It truly looked as if, she was a princess and he was the prince in their fairytale wedding.
After the Bridal party and the Bride and Groom were seated, it was time for dinner. There were toasts given and as well as a blessing, before dinner began. The couple chose to have the Premiere Buffet. The Crystal room staff served a ceasar salad, followed by the buffet Kimberly and Trevor chose. There was Carved Prime Rib and Chicken Cordon Bleu, green bean almandine, a zucchini medley and garlic smashed red skin potatoes.
Wedding cake provided by Cakes from Natashia was served for dessert. The cake was a stunning, four tiers, with fuscia, blue and purple ribbon, wrapped around each tier. There was elegant black scrolling on the bottom and third tier, to compliment the ribbon. On either side of the cake table, were two beautiful figurines of Belle and the Beast/prince. The cake itself was almond which had raspberry filling and chocolate cake with chocolate ganache filling.
After dessert, DJ Spider Man, from Dennis Davis Productions, got the party started. Photographer Nicolas Bombich, captured the couple's special day, as well as the fun moments at the reception. As guests enjoyed an extra hour of the bar, there was dancing, laughing and love, filling the air. It was certainly a day and night to remember for everyone, especially the Bride and Groom, Kimberly and Trevor.
The Crystal Room and Terrace Room staff would like to congratulate the newlyweds! Best of luck Mr. and Mrs. Swindell!
